Description: Man's black top hat, covered in skin (unknown), and hat box. Black ribbon with bow. Good condition on outside, although some wear on brim and crown. Some breakage of frame inside. Worn by Hollis Hysom to parties, according to his daughter Gail Reiber. Marked "Broadway Store Hat, 911 Washington Street, Boston." Hat box from Peck & Peck.

Some discoloration but still in good condition. Original box is included. a lock of is hair is also in the box in paper. These shoes belonged to Steven Joseph Carvajal.

She was a neighbor and close friend when we lived in Burnsville, North Carolina from 1970 to 1987, the year that Lili Kraus died. I inherited her shoes because they were a perfect fit. Description: First bonnet worn by Edith Etta Salisbury, who was born May 10, 1869. She was the grandmother of Gail Reiber, and Edith's mother was Henrietta Somes. Cream cloth with net crown, decorated with cream ribbon, cloth flowers and bricabrac and tiny beading around the brim. Silk (?) ties. Brim and crown have been stiffened.

Leather cut from opening towards center of toe. 4.5” flaps fold over opening on either side with four holes for laces. Both shoes have remnants of laces. Some sign of mildew in past. Wooden pegs in sole, nails in heal. 12 printed on right shoe. 9 1/2 stamped in heal. Donor info - from Heath house in Seal Cove.
