Description: Four boys, two seated in chair, one on each side. Smallest boy on left wears gray or brown coat with knee pants. Sailor style coat. Other boys wera similar outfits. All boys wear hair parted on one side and combed to the other. All boys wear black stockings and boots. Marked, “Allen Boys” on back.

Wears dark dress tight fitting bodice with wide white collar and cuffs. Cross on chain at neck. Gathered at waist over skirt with vertical tucks. Leans on back of chair holding book in hand. Painted pillar in background of studio. Marked Noble Waldoboro, ME. Note on photo holder: "Aunt Annie Stetson".

Description: Pair of blue cobalt vases, 8" high. Vases given to Roscoe and Edna Hysom at their first Christmas (1930) by Kate (Lester) Pray, formerly Kate Heath. She and Julia (Mrs. A.C.) Fernald were sisters. Their mother, Judith Somes Heath (m. Capt. Hirshel Heath), had a house and hat shop between Nuttings and Peppers. Judith and Etta Somes Salisbury were sisters. Kate Heath Pray said that these vases were "very old" when she gave them to the Hysoms, parents of donor (Gail Hysom Reiber). [show more]
