Certificate of ordination as Priest in the Episcopal Church, Diocese of California, for William Thomas Manning. December 12, 1891. Certificate is handwritten and bears the seal of the Diocese of California. Manning owned The Mount Desert House in Somesville, where he and his family summered. Manning later became Bishop of the Diocese of New York.
