There are 3 xeroxes of blueprints with the #4.44 labeled "Trevor Stable for George W. Vanderbilt, Esq. and 2 additional xeroxes with the number 5.00 labeled in the same way. In addition there are two folders. The first is labeled "Trevor House & Stables (also 1 Schieffelin) built for G. W. Vanderbilt. The second is labeled "Trevor House, Bar Harbor" built for G.W. This colection contains tracings drawn by Hoibird and Roche of Chicago as well as alterations to the house and stable by Savage. Original Architect was J Pickering Putnam, built about 1895.

Scott Bar Harbor, ME, 1900 Pencil on tracing paper Savage was a builder and served as an architect's local representative. In many cases he was awarded the commission to design stables and alterations such as at Chiltern. The main house was designed by William Longfellow.
