Horse-drawn vehicles on each side of rutted dirt roadstopped in front of blacksmith’s shop.

On left Mt. Desert House and Nathan Salisbury House. Wagon sits in snow on left side of road. Narrow space has been plowed or shoveled on road. Large trees on each side of road. Unknown Lone man walks down middle of road. Telephone poles on left side.
