Marked on back, “Schooner Federal Grounded in the cove at Somesville, Maine. Copy by W.H. Ballard, Photographer Southwest Harbor, Maine. Stereo Original by Bryant Bradley. W.H. Ballard Collection Southwest Harbor, Maine.” Bryant Bradley was born about 1840. His wife’s name was Ellen. She was born about 1847. Their son Harry born around 1876 became a photographer also.
