Description:
Marjorie (sic) actually Marjory Hayward. Hair parted on one side and brushed down, curled up on ends. Wears white blouse with tucks along shoulder, dark buttons down center and on pocket. Collar with pointed ends lays flat. Small dark bow under collar. Marked on back, “Mrs. Marjorie Hayward Beech Hill Road, Somesville ME”. Moved to Mount Desert Island in 1936. Probably in her 30s.

Joshua married Caroline Frances Somes in 1860. Their children were Harvey Moore and Carrie Mabel Moore. Joshua was lost at sea on 5/3/1865. [show more]

He wears a plaid shirt, buttoned vest, open coat, lighter colored pants; she wears dark dress with light bow at neck, hair braided on crown. Thaddeus has moustache and goatee; has right hand is in his pocket, the other hand on his knee; his legs are crossed. Clara also wears long earrings, brooch on ribbon around her neck and a chain on bodice. Her right forearm is resting on his left shoulder.
