Steamboat Norma. Built by Lawley of Boston, early 1890s. Purchased in late 1890s by Dwight Blaney of Ironbound Island of Bar Harbor. Sold to Captain Fred Haynes (Hays) of Bar Harbor for use as a sightseeing boat in the 1940s. Steam powered launch. Carried captain, engineer, and mate. Captain Sargent wintered in South Gouldsboro.

According to Paul Fernald, Warren Fernald's son, this man is not his father. Seems the original title is likely correct. Paul did not recognize this lobsterman. (R. Rea 5/14/2015)
